The Pied Piper of Hamelin Part 1

For two weeks, we have been doing the Pied Piper of Hamelin for English literature. It was written by Robert Browning. We were given the poem and told to read it. We then watched a few vidoes on the story and poem on Youtube. It was quite fun. There was one video of man called Ron Reagan who recited the poem along with some facial expressions.
The next day, we had to find the meanings of twenty words we did not know. Some of the words I chose were: drysaltery, noddy and consternation.
Then we had to summarize the stanzas in groups. My group did stanzas 1,2 and 3. We copied the summary on pieces of jigsaw paper.
I enjoyed doing the Pied Piper. I hope to do more things like this.
